Renewals of Membership and New Membership for 2023-2024 Season – NOW OPEN

Active, Award (Patrol Members) $110
Associate (Nipper Parent) $130
Nipper (including subsequent Nippers) $80

STEP 1

Please go to https://members.sls.com.au/SLSA_Online/modules/log. and login.

STEP 2

  1. Click on "Memberships" Tab and then on the RENEW link. Please do not use the 'My Family' option.
  2. Check that all the information is correct and update if required.
  3. Continue to Payment Gateway .
  4. Log Out

Repeat Step 1 & Step 2 for each member.

Ensure that your 'Blue Card' is up-to-date, if it is due to expire in the next couple of months download and complete the Form, present the completed form to the Club Office ONLY, to verify your ID and then lodgement with the Commission - the form MUST NOT be sent directly to the Commission.

It is HIGHLY recommended that all adult members (over 18) of the Club hold a valid Blue Card – form is available on our website.

Patrolling members over 18 are required to hold a valid Blue Card.

Please follow the directions below for ALL family members (an individual account is required for each person) to become a member of Mudjimba SLSC.

Please do not use the ‘My Family’ option.

Register on the SLSA website Go to http://sls.com.au/join complete through to Payment Gateway and make appropriate payment for each joining member.

Repeat the steps – one account for EACH individual.

Please email a scanned copy of either Birth Certificate, Drivers License or Passport to the Club for ID verification of each member - admin@mudjimbasurf.com.au

Your membership will not be accepted until payment of membership fees & Blue Card Application (if required) have been received.

  1. Read New Member Registration
  2. Register on the SLSA WEBSITE to become a Member
    - Follow the steps on the SLSA website to "Create account" – one account per individual
  3. All Patrol Members over 18 must hold a current Blue Card - Blue Card - New & Renewal Application
  4. New Active Members must complete a Pool Swim and return the Pools Swim Assessment Test Form to Mudjimba SLSC
  5. When you membership is accepted please go to Members Portal here and create an account for each person - this will give you access to change any personal details at any time (e.g. email, phone, clothing sizes); you will also have access to all Surf Life Saving documents via the 'Library' Tab.

  1. Read the New Member Registration
  2. One Parent or Legal Guardian must join Mudjimba SLSC as an Associate Member with their Nipper(s)
    - Register on the SLSA WEBSITE
    - Follow the steps on the SLSA website to "Create account" – one account per individual
  3. Complete a Blue Card Application if you hold a position that requires a Blue Card - Blue Card - New & Renewal Application
  4. Your Nipper(s) must complete a Pool Swim - Nipper Pool Swim Assessment Form and return the form to Mudjimba SLSC

Please Note: A membership will not be accepted until payment of membership fees has been received and a - Blue Card Application form (if required, please note positions that require a Blue Card) has been submitted.

Mudjimba uses online registration and payment.

If you are renewing a family membership or registering as a new member, you will need to create a separate membership account for each member (including each Nipper) and make the appropriate payment on 'Payment Gateway' window for each member.

You must LOG OUT before creating an account for the next member in the family. You must use a different login name for each person, but you are welcome to use the same password, especially for Nipper accounts, so you don’t have to remember too many passwords.

Adult members (over 18) may need to hold a valid Blue Card – the form is available on our website.

How To Register Online for a New Membership or Renew a Membership

Go to the Members Portal.

If you are renewing a membership for "1" member only login and renew.

If you have more than one member you will need to create another account for each member. All Nippers and Associates must have a separate account.

Creating a New Membership

Instead of clicking on the Login tab, click on the "Create Account" tab.

Once this page below appears fill out all the information required as it is saved on Surfguard from your original application i.e. no nicknames or known as names.

Important: Don't forget you will need to create a different account for each person (including Nippers).

Include your preferred Username and Password for future use. You will need a unique Username for each account, but can use the same password.

Tick your preferred option to have your confirmation code sent to you – email or SMS.

We suggest that you select mobile. An SMS will be sent to you to allow you to activate your account. Alternatively, an email to activate your account will be sent.

When you are done hit the "NEXT" tab and the system will confirm and send you a confirmation SMS/email.

You will then need to go to your selected email address to view mail sent to you from SLSQ, which will look like this below, on there you will see the link to that says "Click here to activate your account now" or type in the details from the SMS.

This page below will appear and you need to "Click" the Lifesaving Online tab.

This membership's page appears next and you need to "Click" the Renew tab.

Once the Membership Renewal page appears you will be able to check all the details are correct and add any extra information (e.g. Medical etc).

If you are filling in for a Nipper, you will need to fill in your name in the authority section at the bottom.

Please Note: On Nipper Accounts, the "Email Address 1" is the address that will be used to send out any information specific to a Nipper Age Group, so please ensure it is relevant.

After submitting your renewal, you will be taken to this page:

Important: Don't forget you need to do this for all Nippers and Parents/Guardians in your family.

Continue to the Payment Gateway and pay for each person individually.

Congratulations, you have now renewed or created your new membership, now you are required to pay your membership fees.

Once you have paid your membership fees, please scan and email a copy of either your Birth Certificate, Drivers License or Passport to the Club admin@mudjimbasurf.com.au for ID Verification of each member.

Your membership will not be accepted until payment of membership fees & Blue Card Application (if required) have been received.

Note: New Blue Card Application Forms in effect from 1 September 2020.

Return completed form along with copies of IDs to the Club Office for processing DO NOT SEND directly to the Commission.

WHO NEEDS A BLUE CARD

Mudjimba SLSC highly recommends that ALL Adult (over 18) members hold a Blue Card to ensure no lag time should you wish to participate in any Surf Club Training or assist with Nipper activities.

What positions in SLS must apply for a Blue Card?

The following is a list of positions in Surf Lifesaving where the people in those positions, if over 18 years of age, must complete the screening procedures:

YOU CANNOT USE ANY CLUB EQUIPMENT OR TAKE PART IN CLUB ACTIVITIES OR TRAINING, AS BOTH YOU & THE CLUB ARE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE.
